Thanks for the info, Bob.  That may be why there are populations
of conus marmoreus in some places, while they are inexplicably
absent in other similar places.  I wonder if a textile knows the
difference in a bandanus and a marmoreus....they come a lot
nearer sharing habitat with bandanus than with marmoreus, but
marmoreus territory may be very near textile territory.  (Only
quoting my Tonga and Samoa experience.)
