Not that the RKK triumverate are infallible but they list kawamurai as a
form
of milneedwardsi in their Indo Pacific Cones book. They only cite
intergrades
when they feel like it. All of the specimens, of kawamurai, I have seen
(NOT photos)
do seem kind of rough and faded. Guess I will give up on a neat live
collected one.
 
What is "sand pumped"? A quarry or is it beach renourishment?
