As a part of the 1999 COA Convention, Supersheller Gene Everson, ever on
the look-out for good competition and excellent display techniques, has
initiated a Seashell Derby Shell Show. This is only the second time in
COA's history that we have held a shell show at a convention. (Jacksonville
was the other occasion.) Entry forms are available from Gene at the address
below, or email me and I will pass the word along to him to send out entry
forms as requested.

Judges will be the famous "Berg Brothers, " Gary Rosenberg, Rich Goldberg
and Kevan "Sunderberg." (Yeah, there's a story in that one, but you sort of
had to be there!)

So come one, come all Please join us at this innovative "national shell
show. " Give Gene a run for his money. Don't let him walk off with all the
trophies! Take a look at the rules below...they are pretty free
wheeling...an Everson Dream Show. (No background heights!?! Well, Gene, I
thought that room had a ceiling in it!) He insists that there is a
category designed for any kind of exhibit except shellcraft.
