   Dear List,

We should each write a message to Florida's Flamingo Gardens to voice
our concern and disapproval of their decision to destroy the otters.

     Their Address is:
               Flamingo Gardens
               3750 South Flamingo Drive
               Davie, FL 33330
               Phone 954) 473-2955

As the mother of 4, I always felt it my responsibility to
watch my own children and not leave it up to others including "otters".
I think the people who are going to miss the otters at Flamingo Gardens
should sue the parents of the child for depriving them and their own
children the pleasure of seeing them. It is the fault of the parents
of
that little child.....not the otters....and not Flamingo Gardens, and
not
all of us who will not get to see the otters. Just my opinion.

I know this is not a shell message BUT ....
A new york couple visiting Florida took their BRAT kids to Flamingo
gardens (a botanical gardens) , while there they decided to go off the
pathways and made their way to the otter enclosure , the smallest brat stuck
it's fingers thru the wire surrounding the area and one of the otters bit it,
the couple not wanting to let the BRAT go thru rabies shots would rather have
ALL the otters put to sleep (killed) . Look if someone is stupid enough to
put their hand in the wild animals cage they better be ready to get
bitten!!!!!!!!!!!
