Bob,
  Your label should include the subgenus name; thus Chlamys (Mimachlamys)
crassicostata
(Sowerby II, 1842) is correct.  This name is full scientific name.  Perhaps
some one someday will raise the subgenus Mimachlamys to the genus level,
and then you'll have to retype (if you choose to) your labels over again.
