Hi Charlie,
I have the book (at least I think it's the same one you are talking about),
but the first 4 figures on plate 49 are Plicatulidae. Pectinidae on that
plate starts with figure 5. There are 16 figures total on that plate. This
is Shells of the Western Pacific, volume 1, by Tetsuaki Kira, 1962.
The Pectinidae species shown (and figure numbers) are:
5. Pecten (Serratovola) tricarinatus Anton
6. Chlamys quadrilirata (Lischke)
7. Chlamys asperulata (Adams et Reeve)
8. Chlamys jousseaumei Bavay
9. Chlamys lemniscata (reeve)
10. Chlamys schmeltzii (Kobelt)
11. Chlamys asperulata pelseneeri Dautzenberg et Bavay
12. Chlamys (Coralichalmys) madreporarum (Sowerby)
13. Chmalys inaequivalvis (Sowerby)
14. Luteamussium sibogai (Dautzenberg et Bavay)
15. Parvamussium (Flavamussium) caducum (Smith)
16. Amusium pleuronectes (Linne.)

Regards,
Paul M.
