Hello all,

Things have been pretty quiet for a while. I have another request for
information (as usual). Does anyone know of a commercial source for
Argopecten purpuratus? Despite the commercial fishing of this species, it
seems that good specimens of this shell remain hard to find. I saw monster
size single valves at a souvenir store near Silver Springs last weekend, as
well as gorgeous 3 inch+ orange and lavender single valves of Gloripallium
pallium, another species that seems a bit hard to come by (particularly
some of the lighter colored specimens).

Any help on flushing out some nice specimens would be greatly appreciated.
I would be glad to trade some Junonias for these and some other Pecten
species if that's what it takes.

Many thanks in advance!
