Dear All;-
The shell is Conus cedonulli Linne, 1758 (or therabouts). Roger Dunn
had a great interest in this Caribbean Cone. He collected from a good
many islands, examined and compared them; and concluded that there was
only one species--but slightly different variations depending on what
island they were found off of.
What is the thinking today? Does each island have its own species or
are they still all cedonulli?
