Dear Nancy;-
Thanks so much and I hereby take advantage of your generosity.
Tell Herman this:
I have examined the shell he sent. All I have been able to do so far is
eliminate the species that it is NOT. The closest is E. georgetine which
is found from Brazil to Argentina. But it differs from that by having
microscopic spiral lines and it's in the wrong place. Ask Herman if he
thinks he might find other examples near the same location. At least it
is an excuse to go hunting on a week-end.
