Psalm 58:8  "like the slug which melts as it moves" (some translations say
"snail" rather than slug)
 
Acts 16:14 - an indirect reference to mollusks - "Lydia, who was a dealer in
purple goods" - these goods of course would be cloth dyed with the purple
secretions of Murex brandaris and other Mediterranean muricids.
