James,
        Speaking of photos, did you receive the photos of the Endeavour
that I sent you on Monday?  Today we placed the species of the Banks'
Collection in the Great Cabin where Dr.Banks and Dr. Sölander worked
identifying plants and shells and other wonderful things (1768-71)  The
shells were listed in a publication from the London Museum of Natural
History that was sent to me by the curator.  Mini-research projects like
this one are rather interesting to replicate.  We have been on board 6
times now, talking with the crew and touring the boat.  It was great!!!
Hope that you received the pictures.  I don't think that you'll see too
many boats like that in Ohio.  Have you seen the BOUNTY in St. Petersburg?
Another great old ship.  Well, write and let me know how you're doing away
from the beach.
