Went shelling today and collected 3 Purpura patula. These are not the first
I've collected live but these were the first to excrete dye. It was a pale
blue. I have Purpuras from two locations in Florida and another from Costa
Rica. Are these all the same species? Are is there a Syn. They sure look
different.
