Dear Andrew;
        You really shouldn't feel TOO badly (<I feel lower than snail dung for my careless and rude
actions.>): a lot of people say fabulously dumb things "in the heat of the moment" - things they
wish would just vanish into the ether, but which somehow never do : even i have done this once or
twice ;-). On this list, it's the quality of the apology that counts - and yours has GOT to be in
the top 3 the list has seen - in the past 2 years at least!! Of course, if everyone did what Amy
suggested - ie, wait 24 hours before sending off anything they think they might regret, then the
word "apology" would be as rare on the list as flying pigs are in the "real" universe! (ah, but what
is truth??)
Cheers,
Ross.

P.S.: Marlo: I didn't mean that wisecrack about the flyswatter...
