Dear Ferret, about Bristlecone pines (Pinus longaeva). The correct age is
4,700 years old. 20,000 is a bit exaggerated. It is quite unnatural for a
living
thing to survive that long. I used to study trees quite a bit and I still
do to some extent.

Kindest Regards,
James
