I read in the August 1998 "Nautiloid" (newsletter of the North Alabama
Shell Club) that Bernice Albert wrote an article on "Molluscan Secrets" in
the Suncoast Conchologist Shell Club newsletter date unknown). The article
was about the trails that mollusks leave behind them on beaches and sand
flats. Glen Deuel quoted a few selections from the article, and I'd like to
read more. Could someone please send me a photocopy of this article?

By the way, thanks to those who responded about that interesting character,
Tucker Abbott. I didn't know that he worked out of a cottage in the back
yard, but it sounds appealing to me. Actually, I often get a lot of writing
done on weekends, 200 miles from my library, but also 200 miles away from
the telephone and other distractions.
