I think my most memorable self-collected shell was in Eleuthera,
Bahamas.  In 10 feet of water, under a large rock, I found a nice Conus
abbotti that was just short of 53mm, or 2 and 1/16 inches.  Later on
that year I let it leave my collection.  On that day I had a little to
much to drink.
