To Bill and Giancarlo, thanks for your responses!! I checked out
Conus eugrammatus, but I am not sure that is the one. The spire of the
mystery cone
looks a lot like C. pagodus, but the lower body whorl is not as curved
as pagodus. I do not have a photo of C. boholensis, so if anyone can
supply
one, I would appreciate. If boholensis turns out not to be it, could I
send the cone to someone via
snail-mail for positive ID?
