Over the years I have tried them all.  I agree with Carol that a combination
of mineral oil and lighter fluid appears to be a viable solution - in the
parts
that she suggests.  But of course, this is a subject that has been well
explored
previously and may be found with many search engines which will access
the University of Georgia listeserv (Conch-L) material which is archived.
