Dear All

The School of MACE at the University of Manchester, UK has an opening in Using weather index insurance to reduce weather related risks to smallholder agriculture.

The project is available to UK/EU citizens and is funded at the standard RCUK rate for 3 years.

The research student will investigate how the choice of input dataset and the design of the parametric models used will impact weather index insurance policies.

Please see <https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/using-weather-index-insurance-to-reduce-weather-related-risks-to-smallholder-agriculture/?p109048/> for details.

Please send enquires to Dr Ben Parkes <[log in to unmask]> or Dr Tim Foster <[log in to unmask]>
