Thinus Prinsloo have developed soil water limit equations for South Africa.
He is from the ARC-GCI at POtchefstroom. They use this equations for running

One problem you may face is that you can not use the South African
classification data directly to estimate soil water limits because the soil
water limits equations were developed for US classification.

There are various soil textural classes used by different countries. For
instance
South Africa
clay <0.002 mm
Fine silt 0.002-0.02 mm
Sand and coarse silt 0.02- 2.0 mm
US
Silt 0.05-0.002 mm
Clay <0.002 mm
Sand 0.05- 2.0
The soil data I have is classified according to South African
classification. I will use the data as input to the model ( CROPGRO) that I
will be running. Is there any problem if I use the data as it is?
