Glad to see there are a good compliment of non-marine fans on the list.
I think one of the reasons Landsnails have been under-appreciated is
that a lot of collectors simply don't know much about them, in all their
seemingly-endless variety: until a couple of weeks ago, i really didn't
pay the Land-Locked side of the Shell World much attention - then i
found out what i was missing, and have found them to be more exiting
than i thought they were! (and yes, i'm going to put a bunch of them
(ok- all, since i don't collect myself!!) on my site, but that was not
the primary reason for asking about them on the list :-}  )

Chilly up here too, but at least its not snowing like in Southern Alberta!,
