Dear Conch-lers,

Immediately after (July 18) the upcoming COA "Circus of Shells" Convention
in Sarasota (July 13-17), The Bailey-Matthews Shell Museum will be hosting
one of the Convention's field trips. You will find more details about the
trip in the registration package included in the March 2002 issue of
American Conchologist or in COA's web site, Conch-Net:
http://data.acnatsci.org/conchnet/coaconv.html; the visit to the Museum
will include, among other perks, a tour of the collection/research/library
area and a brief talk with our latest news, projects, and programs. Please
check us out at www.shellmuseum.org for more details about the Museum
resources. By the way, the March issue of American Conchologist is in my
opinion one of the best ever; it is packed full of information and great
color pictures. Congratulations to editor Lynn Scheu, design editor Jim
Miller, and the authors for a great magazine!

Cheers,

José
