I also heard that he died (almost a year ago), and we talked a little at the
Port Canaveral convention that he had died from complications after surgery.
I had been to his home to buy shells about a month before the surgery and
he had a very positive attitude about improving his general health and
mobility with the surgery. Then - I heard he died. I noted recently that
there were some items on EBAY sold by Noreast (his old ebay id) so I don't
know whether his family has taken over the website, or what has happened to
ALL THOSE SHELLS he had!! He was a fine person and spent time answering all
my beginner questions. It thought maybe the Boston shell group had done
something to help the family with the shells.

Subject: Frank Walker
Dear all,
Has anyone heard from Frank Walker recently? I have tried e-mailing him
twice, but I didn't get any response. A while back there was a rumor that
he had died, but I never saw anything else about it, which I find rather
unusual. His website (http://www.gemsfromthesea.com) is still up, and it
was last updated at Christmastime. I really don't know what happened to
him, so if anyone could help me find out, I would of course be grateful.
Thanks In Advance,
James
