The lectotype and three paralectotypes of Lithasia curta are here at the
Academy of Natural Sciences, catalogue number 120785. The lectotype was
designated by H. B. Baker (1964, Proc. ANSP 116:182). The specimens are from
the Wheatley Collection, which was deposited here by the University of
Pennsylvania. The locality is Northern Alabama.
