The Lake Nicaragua Sharks are a true fresh-water species. It is found all
the way up into Lake Atitlan in Guatemala. The variety there is very
aggressive and typically beach swimming areas are caged off to keep sharks
of any size out. Hopefully the Nicaragua variety is much less aggressive.

Don't let any of that asuade your enjoyment of the tremendous beauty of it
all.
Leslie
