but GOOF-OFF  in a yellow can and is a powerful
mixture.  Gum comes out.   Maybe slime.

Now you have a powerful remover - test for color and cloth
interaction.   Buy locally if possible.
No problem with this site - might be ok.  But easier at
a hardware store or paint store.
