Um Emilio:
Lets see how you would do if we stuck you in a forecasting situation
where over a million people are in possible danger of their lives, and See
how you would handle it. Hurricanes are nothing to play or joke around with.
As we speak the central gulf coast is being innundated with 14 foot storm
surge (wait we don't want to create a panic it wont hit you) Just think If
that particular storm that wasn't affecting you had come about 10 degrees ENE
(direction on an azimuth) Sanibel would be nothing more that a pile of
shells. Your remarks are extremely irresponseble and just plain rude. Being
from the north I can't tell you about how many snow storms we were supposed to
get dumped with, Shut down schools, and closed the Government (the Big one
too) and got nothing more that a few clouds and snow flurries. Oh yeah, Then
there are the clouds and flurries we were supposed to get and got 6 inches of
snow. Forecasting is an imperfect science. But just think what would happen
if you didn't know about this massive storm coming to you and you got
flattened. I would think you would be happy just to know that its out there
and there is the potential for it to hit. You also have the potential to be
hit by a bus next week but we aren't creating a panic about it. Now about
that law suit?
