Interesting - wonder if it came from the Western part of
the Pacific - e.g. flu out of the Nuke plant in North Korea ?
It was started up not long ago - warm water...

A typhoon might have given it a push in the Japanese current
heading for Alaska and turning back west in the Tropics.

Might be 'native' in the rocky bottoms of the arctic ocean and
flushed out with extra ice flow or got out due to a lack of ice...

I think I'd search via satellite and see if I can find a trail.
