I have been using Snyder's book on Fasciolariidae to help resolve the
multitude of different fossil species within the family in my collection.
I see that Fasciolaria lilium and F. hunteria are both used for the recent
common tulip shell. Snyder lists F. lilium and F. lilium hunteria as
valid. Does someone have a short description of the differences between
the two?

Thanks

Mike
