The first is Nerita chamaeleon Linnaeus, 1758 - a good key to identification
is the presence of dark brown wavy axial stripes within the dark-colored
areas of the shell. Another is the straight row (parallel to the columella)
of denticles (3 to 5) on the parietal shelf.

The second shell is Septaria porcellana (Linnaeus, 1758) - yes, this shell
normally has numerous variably sized tents that make up the pattern, but it
can appears with axial bands or lines, such as the one you have. There is
no simple key for identification, but luckily, the two Septaria that seem
most difficult to differentiate are not located in the Philippines.

Hope this helps,

Tom Eichhorst

PS If you want I can send images and detailed write ups on these species.
