They were tan and light pink on Kwaj.
If you put Cypraea leviathan into Google search you will get a Hawaiian 
site.
They seemed to be more redish.

Might be the active volcano chemicals or the old material breaking down.

On Kwaj carneola reminded us of caramel and the colors it has.
