He,
Just a warning, there is a lot of fake animals in amber. I was able to prove that a number of pieces purchased for a museum collection were fake.It was pretty easy to prove though, use an intense source of UV light, if the sample is clear it is amber, if it is cloudy it is sap from New Zealand with embedded organisms in it.Obviously I hope your sample is a real fossil amber, but it's always best to play it safe.
