Study Abroad Program Representative Visit
Ms. Marlo Goldstein of AmeriSpan Unlimited will be on campus on
Wednesday, February 26th from 4:00-5:00 pm in Tate 143. AmeriSpan offers
academic summer and semester programs and volunteer/internships programs
in Latin America and Europe. There are also special programs for
business, health care, and education students. Come to the information

Scholarships for Study Abroad
The Institute of International Education is accepting applications for
the 2003-2004 National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren
Undergraduate Scholarships for study abroad. NSEP Boren Scholarships
are available to degree-seeking undergraduates planning to study abroad
in summer 2003, fall 2003, and/or spring 2004. Emphasized world
regions include Africa, Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, the NIS, Latin
America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Information and an
online application are available on the NSEP Web site:

request. The application deadline is February 14, 2003. For more

The International Student Exchange Program (ISEP) is offering an
automatic $500 credit toward the total cost of ISEP fees to
degree-seeking students who are admitted to a semester- or year-long
ISEP exchange. In the state of Georgia, ISEP, a network of more than
200 universities in over 30 countries around the world, is coordinated

and fun! Consider the International Street Festival. The purpose of
the International Street Festival is to promote cultural diversity,
awareness and tolerance among international and university students, and
the Athens community in a fun, festive, educational environment. More
than twenty-five International Student Organizations, UGA organizations
and Athens and Atlanta area community groups present traditional and
cultural performances, artifacts, handicrafts, displays and interactive
