In case others are also looking for the Ford publication, it may be
helpful to know that there are two publications of that (or
almost that) name. The Northwestern Naturalist, referring to
northwestern North America, was formerly titled The Murrelet; it is
readily available online but is not the publication that you want.
The North Western Naturalist, published by the North Western
Naturalists' Union, referring to northwestern England, seems likely to
be the right publication. I do not immediately see online copies of
the articles, but the Union website may be helpful.
