it wouldnt be impossible for you to find out, up here in ny and by you
too there is Tellina agilis, which is very abundant and can be dug
live just a short distance under the surface..... its tiny, but you
can find them in pink, just like in florida, i have all different
shades of pink and quite a few that are also various shades of yellow,
brown, gold or all things in between. any bay in the middle atlantic
or new england could have them if there is a mud/sand bottom.
