Hello,
I've been considering several conch species and a number of questions have come to mind. The
species of interest are Strombus oldi, Strombus taurus, and Strombus thersites.
My questions are as follow: What is the exact range for each of these species?
What is the nature of the habitat for each species (water depth,
substrate, etc.)? (Please include citations to relevant
literature).
What are the circumstances that have brought more specimens of
these species (in particular, Strombus oldi and Strombus taurus)
to the market?
Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance and I'll look
forward to hearing from you. :)
Sincerely,
Tim Blackwood
