Correct, but...
I look for pics of original plates (Adanson, Lamarck maybe) and
type-specimens, but the prices are excessive since one wants to diffuse the
copy on the web, even for non commercial use.
There is a problem, there.  In nigra vs. safiana, I try to distinguish true
from wrong but how to proceed when the basis remains unavailable, or too
expensive ?
At this time, I don't know what a safiana, or a nigra, could be. I believe
that Lamarck's safiana looks very nigra (spanish "nigra"), while Adanson's
proto-nigra looks very "safiana" (if the safianas I have are true ones:)

Hi all,
Since I'm interested in limpets, I've been following this thread, but my
reply has more to do with getting an image of a book page(s).  A solution to
scanning, when this is not practical, is to digitally photograph the desired
pages.
