As some of you may know, we videoed a good portion of the COA Convention in
Orlando. After two months of working on the videos, my husband has come up
with the following: 1. He had more than 9 hours of tape. When he tried
to cut and stretch all this, the quality on EP was bad. So, here's what it
all boils down to;
We have two videos--
Video #1
Preview of convention and welcome - Dave Green
Annual meeting - Dave Green
Programs as follows:
"Shells in Outer Space" - Alan Gettleman
"Simple Techniques for Educating People About Shells" - Helen Kwiat
"True Paper Shells" - Amy Edwards
"In Search of Marginellas in the Southern Caribbean" - Bob & Betty Lipe
"Writing a Shell Book - "How to be a Shell Collector" - Art Weil
"New Light on Molluscan Photosymbiosis" - Dr. Doug Jones
Also included in tape one are "Tidbits" by Linda Koestel, browsing in the
lobby and some auctioning.
Video #2
Includes three (3) presentations, 40 minutes of the Bourse and a preview of
the '99 COA Convention.
Programs
"Shelling in the Canadian North - Labrador or Bust" - Ross Mayhew
"Shelling in Paradise: Hawaii" by Chris Takahashi
"Sights and Sounds of Monterey Bay" - Dave Green
Preview of Louisvilly, KY, by Gene Everson
Bob will sell both videos for $16, which includes postage. If you only
want one video, it will be $10, which also includes postage.
Anyone interested in having either or both of these videos, please e-mail
me privately and let me know what you want. #1, #2 or both. Send your check
