Martin, There are many areas in the Caribbean where you can collect
shells, like Granada and all through the Grenadines.  I collect there
all the time.  Just be careful when bringing land snails back into the
U.S.  I call them all seashells when I come back, what do I know.  Just
be sure they are not alive.
