Oops,

I just now saw Harry Lee's answer and will quickly drop my Haliotis species
count.  You thought I said 100??!!!  Heck, it must have been a computer
problem, sticking keys, bad electrons, carpal spazzo syndrome, etc.  I guess
a bunch of us need to chase down Geiger's article in Nautilis.  Once again,
thank you Harry for providing a real answer amidst opinions and estimates.

So, sorry James, I dropped your estimate like a hot potato (is that spelled
with an "e" or without, anyone in Indiana know?).
