Please, be aware that there are many well documented cases of devastation
of the local fauna by imported predator snails. In several Pacific islands
Euglandina snais were imported for this reason and caused irreversible
local extinction! I'm totally against this pernicious practice!
If snails are a pest for a garden, try to understand why, and work on the
cause that altered an expected equilibrium. If this proves impossible then
the risks of using allochtonous species for control exceed by far the problem.
