Sorry to take everyone away from the discussion of Helmut's future (I was
getting ready to place side bets), but I have shell stuff to worry about :)

1. What is required to bring shell into the US through customs? Should they
be packed in my bags? Separate? Carried on/off? What is best?
2. where can I find the thread or locate the author of the tangle netting in
the Philippines articles?  How is it done (technique)? What do I need
(material, etc) to do it?
3. Is there really a search engine (someone mentioned one recently) for the
list archives? Where? I could not find one.
