If anyone has any specimens from Cape Cod north, i'd be more than glad
to help identify them, if i can! We have less than 500 shell-bearing
spp for the entire region, and i've seen about 380 or so so far and
could probably narrow down a few more by the process of elimination.
The most confusing are the most northerly Buccinidae and of course the
Turridae (we've got about 60 spp of Turridae, and i can only put FIRM
names on a dozen or so: many of the species that are SUPPOSED to be
here, simply don't match up with the specimens found....).

From the at-last summery climes of New Scotland (22 C here today - even
warmer than Igaluit!!);
-Ross.
