Greetings,

I have interest in collecting Shell on Stamps also, and a novice at it.
Have found a shop that has good selection of shell stamps if you wish to
contact him, it is as follows:

Crossroads Stamp Shop
2211 W. 54th St.
Minneapolis, MN.

Do not know if he is on e mail, but perhaps a letter telling what you are
looking for will do the trick. Good luck--

the new set issued by Hong Kong on 9th November 1997. This shows "Clam",
"Cowrie", "Cone" and "Murex", but I am having difficulty in accurate
identifications. My best bets are for the $1.30: Chlamys gloriosa and
Lioconcha castrensis; for the $2.50: Cypraea arabica asiatica and Cypraea
lynx; for the $3.10: Conus bandatus and Olivia miniacea; for the $5:
Chicoreus palmarosae and Murex tribulus.
