OK - when you saw that in the subject line......you thought I was crazy!

For those who attended 2001 Shell Odyssey:  Many of you met Cathie Katz
and saw her great exhibit and sales table on sea beans.  Cathie has
written some very interesting books about our Florida coastline.

Cathie passed away peacefully at home on Thursday after a long illness
and many surgeries.

She was a delightful person and loved being a part of the conchologists
and she especially loved the beach.
