Tom and other neritologists,
While in Palau many moons ago, I collected numerous lots of Nerita.  I
thought many of them were undata until I actually looked at them.  I came
up with several names for these......most of them pulled out of a hat at
random, followed by a flip of a coin.  Despite this less than scientific
approach, two names cames up more often than not....

Nerita semigranosa Recluz, 1841
Nerita grayana Recluz, 1843 (44?)

I've not often seen semigranosa mentioned in literature (but don't really
keep up)....but ours exactly match the illustration and diagnosis in
Martini and Chemnitz....anyone familiar with this baby?   Kurtles
