Hi.
I've been following this discussion and got the idea that it might be
usefull to create a grading system for the shell data as we have it for the shells
themselves. By that way traders could give easily information about the
quality of the data without adding it completely to their lists - which i think
would save them a lot of work.
I think a scale of points would be useful, something like one point for
every information given so that you could describe a shell as for example f- 8
with the first info for the shell and the 2nd for the data. I am aware that
this is just a scetch of the idea but maybe we could think about which
informations would earn a point and if they are all equally important. That way we
could avoid confusion about what basic or complete data means. I myself never
thought about including for example water temperature or the weather conditions
during collecting but now somebody mentioned it i find it a useful
information.
So please give your opinions on what is worth counting and which information
really is extra-extra and should not count or maybe as a + behind the
number.
