Check out "Strombus oldi - A Retrospective" by Harry Lee.
I don't know if it's still there but I found it a couple of years back at:

Also, Hawaiian Shell News June'77 p.10, pictures a specimen from Mombassa,
Kenya - over 150mm in size.
