Dear Mr. Misfud,

This is not answering your post directly, but I planed to write to you some
time ago as I was planning a trip to Malta to possibly collect some snails
and especialy clausilias. Unfortunately I had to pospone this winter trip.
I understand from some friends that they are now protected. Is that valid
for all Maltese snails or just the fast dissapearing special ones from Gozo
or the mainland. Would this law be applicable to death specimens too?
