Hi David,

     There are not Steironepion in the Mediterranean, the only similar forms
belong to Chauvetia. Concerning the land snails, those discoidal or keeled
specimens, with pale whorls, brown base and orange mouth are Theba
subdentata helicella (Wood, 1828), a Moroccan species that nobody knows when
was introduced in Almería. I also found it in the same place.
